Green Smiley Monday
Happy Green Smiley Monday to everyone!!! I hope everyone had a good one. I have a couple of things I am thankful for today.
All of my sisters here at DS I wanted to thank all of you for supporting me and being there for me during the worst time of my life. I want to thank Barbara for getting all of us together during a time when no one else understood. She created a place of safe haven. A place I could share and talk about my precious son Josh when no one else would listen. A place that I knew people shared the same pain that I did. I just don't know where my life would be without this group. Thank you Barbara for saving my sanity.
My husband John. I am very thankful for him. I know I don't show it enough, but since Josh's death we have been one of the lucky couples and have survived the death of a child. We had our rocky times to start with but we have grown much closer the last year or two. I love you John Boy.
My Son Josh- For 16 years I was blessed to have a son that never gave me and his daddy much grief. Of course we had our agreements normal teenage stuff. He did not know it but he was my life and will be until I leave this world.
My Best Friend Toni - The only thing I can say is I love her.
Just know that I carry all of you in my heart and thoughts everyday.

To weather the crashing waves of grief with a spouse is such a blessing. I am so glad to hear that John and you are closer than ever. I understand peace signs were a favorite of Josh and they are ours too. I am drawn to them in fabric, jewelry, just about everything. I\'ll be saying hi to Josh too when I see them.
