gratitude, patience, meditation, prayer....
I hit a bump in the road last night, my mood spiked - the mystery of life why I couldn't be prepared or control it. I don't know if we are meant to control our moods and emotions but maybe to just experience them and get through them. I prayed today, meditated and tried to have gratitude for all that I have. It made me feel more at peace.
The bad mood and the fear did carry over into today, but the meditations did help me through it. I went for a walk with my roommate and then also decided to treat myself to a trip into Santa Monica. There I went to my fav pub, and watched a little soccer. I just decided to appreciate life and what life put in front of me and it really calmed me.
I am just offering this journal to tell anyone who is in a bad mood or an OVERWHELMING state of mind that it does change. It gets better. I am lucky for what I have and really
though my life may not be iconically a grand one, I do appreciate what I've got. I don't know what you're going through, but if you reach out and tell me, or tell someone, that I believe is step one to taking care of what you've got. That's what I am trying to do. I can't do it perfectly, I know, but I can try and take care of me - one day at a time.... Blessings all, Mark

Sometimes worth keeping a mood diary. Some dates can be triggers so worth noting for future reference. Yes, moods pass with times. But can be a bumpy ride. Peace.
thanks Max. You are awesome!
