I do feel incredibly lucky to be safe amongst fellow vulnerable people here on the site and where I live here at the monastery. Sorry I get so objective sometimes. My mind has a weird way of making sense of things but this is the case.

I think it's a common human reaction....to make sense of things that don't seem to make sense.
My doctor once told me that every brain is wired different so what seems normal to one person might seem weird to someone else.
