gotta make something

Work was alright today...I kind of just did it...

I came home and had lunch and played with Blue

and then showered, dressed and went out for coffee.

I came back home and watched a little television

and then remembered that I recorded "The Great British Baking Show"

and so I turned that on. Just kind of melded into the couch - still kind of sleepwalking

through the day - much like I did at work... But watching the show helped me

psyche up for the day a bit more... it's a competition show and there are good vibes

on it...I just kind of took my own advice and after finishing the show, I cleaned up

and took out the trash. Just keeping busy. Life can feel so abstract and meaningless

but then to grasp hold of what needs to be done - and the routine of things I need to do

keeps me focusing on the pragmatics and actionable things that make me feel on the path

to accomplishing things and feeling like I've gotten something done...taking care of business

and the day. At least that's one part of it, giving myself a structure - a schedule to the day

also helps a great deal. Going to sleep at around the same time - waking up at the same time,

taking my meds at the same time. The world and the day can be vast but having these routine

and schedule tools kind of at my easy use help me to take care of my life/nut.

I am looking forward to talking to my therapist on Friday...

and right now, I'll go out and pick up the mail.

Things are good - mellow but I've gotta make something

and so that comes in the form of writing this journal.

So it goes....

The deeper I question, the more meaningless my life feels.

Looking for the beauty in the mundane has lead me to depths of meaning my questioning never let me suspect.

"Seeking words of Wisdom
"Let it be."

Just appreciate.

Marky, you need to make small things adventures methinks. Do you know how much I love going to this one grocery store just to look at the bean aisle? I have never seen so many dried beans in my life in one place! It is amazeballs! I never buy any but I make sure I walk that aisle because it is mesmerizing.
