Gotta love those eyes!!!

   Now who could resist a face like this and those eyes!!! this is spike, my miniature schnauzer. I am feeling in the "pink’ today thus the pink writing. I have been so busy the time has just been racing by. Yesterday, I did not even have time to post a journal. Sometimes I try to think, okay, what did I do, where did the time go. I can usually come up with quite a list.Yesterday I made a huge pot of cream of carrot soup. I know it’s fall when I feel the urge for the comfy foods. We had it for supper with homemade brown bread. Tonight will be a repeat performance and I froze the rest. Love those recipes that make lots!! I have a friend that will not eat leftovers. I can’t imagine this!No movement on the house and it is only 17 days until the closing date. So unless something miraculous and fast happens we will be staying put. But I’m okay with that.Our cruise is on Oct. 25. Starting to get excited. Thinking about what to pack. It will take me a day just to decide on which shoes/sandals I’ll be taking!! lolI have been exercising everyday and the inches are coming off. Thank you, lord. I am using the tape measure every other day. I only weigh myself once a week so I’m not sure what I’ve lost so far.I ordered 2 new bathing suits from sears. Actually I ordered four because they are two pieces and you can get different sized bottoms and tops.. Makes for a better fit. They are both the same only one is red the other black. Now when I say two piece suit don’t go thinking skimpy bikini!!! yeah, right, talk about a good way to clear the beach. Lol no, they are the tanktop kind... tankkinis is what they are called.Awhile back one of my friends on hear mentioned getting some weird messages from men in Ghana. Well, I have received 2 from the same guy. He calls himself "anyass". Needless to say, I did not respond. I am confused as to how he can write to me without me accepting him as a friend.
