got wheels again...........yay!

it's after midnight.......wanted to share that i have a car again........finally!  yay.  being without a car for just shy of a full month brought it's share of challenges.  i am so tired .......have fried brain syndrome.  one tuckered little baby bird sitting in her nest. 

better go to bed.  thankful to sam for all he did to help me through.........he drove all the way to  east bumble to test drive & check out the car we got......he came over late at night after a long day at work to help me with the car contract......sam and a buddy went back to east bumble to pick up the car today and bring it back to duluth.  then ginny took me to duluth to p/u the car.......sam made sure to fill up the tank for me......such a sweet thing to do!  and his dad snuck in some surprise cash (for future fuel needs) to help me enjoy the new ride. 

getting used to this car will take me a little bit.......it's a midnight blue buick lacrosse.......older like me, nice just the same!  ha ha ha!  has a soft gray cloth interior.......it's a pretty car with low mileage.  it's an '08 and only has 42,000 miles.  feel pretty doggone lucky! 

a lot to catch up on now that i've got wheels........but first things first.  i need to find out the process for the new tag, need to get the oil, tires, fluids and so forth checked out.......make sure things are cool.  sam told me to check the last service date listed on the carfax report, then take it from there.  i also need to get an extra key and key fob for the vehicle.....here's a funny thing, the floor mats were sitting in the trunk.  assumed there were four, but no.....only three. does that mean if there's a 4th person riding in my car they have to keep their feet in the air the whole time??????????  can't believe the seller didn't mention it.....little stinker!  but overall it's a very nice car........wish me luck!
