Got through the surgery & coming home tomorrow!!

Well, my husband had his knee replacement surgery on Wednesday... things went well, though after the pain meds wear off - that's the real test.  :]  It will probably take him up to 12 weeks to fully recover.  I get to be off of work until January 2! I'm really looking forward to a peaceful time together and being able to make things easier for him.  Being at the hospital these last few days has made me appreciative of my health and all that I have been blessed with.  As for my recovery, I had a glitch in the road recently and I'm no longer beating myself up for it... With my husband's surgery, I've put my stuff on the back burner . . it's not all about me, though many of us CG's seem to focus so much on ourselves.  Sometimes I can hardly believe that side of me is really me - I don't like it.  The other side of me I feel is a much higher quality person . . .and that's what my husband and others believe me to be.  It's almost like I become two different people.  What a crazy addiction this is - oh well, enough about me - see there's that CG thing again. :] :] Hope everyone is doing well - I wish you all peace, love, and happiness at Christmas and the New Year.Hugs,Smokeygirl
