Got the job, yay!

Hi everyone,
Many thanks to all for the sweet birthday wishes and also for rooting for me to get the new job. The program director called and offered me the job today and I accepted. I will have the stress of social work (I'm ok with that - it is rewarding to me to help folks so it can even be joyful) but no more being a manager - yay! No more juggling running a school, supervision of many staff as well as dealing with the crisis our kids & families face. Yay!
I appreciate the prayers and positive thoughts as I interviewed. I will officially start in the new department on 6/18 but will work a couple of hours in the new place over the next 2 weeks as they are desperate for help. After that it looks like I may be consulting up to 5 hours a week for my old program as they look for a replacement. That is something I am happy to do so the kids, families and staff have support during the transition. 
I am looking forward to the challenge of the new position too.
