That is good news - sort of!
Do watch your feet. People with diabetes often have neuropathy - numbness in the extremities. I have seen horrible sores on feet because they didn\'t know they had injured themselves. I fact my brother was one of them.
Good news about the vitamin D! It is easily remedied! I take it because I live in the North. I wouldn\'t be surprised if more people had Vit D deficiency because of sun screen. Our skin needs to absorb a certain amount of sunlight to produce Vitamin D.
Have a great week now. Hopefully the feet will ease up soon.
Hugs, M
Sometimes it\'s better to get a diagnosis, even if it\'s not what you want to hear so at least there\'s a treatment plan you can go ahead with. Maybe now you have a few answers, things will clear up a little for you. Being in constant pain must be so debilitating - hope this will be able to provide you with some well earned relief!
Glad you got some answers. I was under the impression you already had a diagnosis about your feet. I thought it was from your bulging discs so I was out in left field ha ha. Hopefully you can get some relief soon and be on the mend. Much love. Robin
so glad you got answers.... now feel better soon...
My mom was diabetic and had neuropathy---a common problem for diabetics.
She took a medication called Gabapentin and got some relief. Her doctor also have some special cream compounded for her from a compound pharmacy. It contained CP-Gabapentin 6%/Diclofenac 3%/Baclofen 2%/Lidocaine 2%
She put in on before bed...really helped
Gentle care,
AnnM
So glad you got some answers! ! (((Hugs)))
I don\'t have diabetes, thank G-d, but neuropathy, none the less. Lyrica takes away a lot of my foot pain. I also rub my feet with Voltaren gel. A topical pain killer. Hands and feet get this attention. Hoping vitamin D helps you feel much better, it worked for me. Love, abby
answers..good or bad at least you know what you are dealing with.
So happy, you finally have the answers!! Now you can make some changes and lose the pain!! WOO HOO !!!
So glad you found the cause of your pain. Be well.
Welcome to my world. My legs more than my feet...I go in the sun and try and eat well..but clearly not enough. Try to spend 1/2 hour in the sun with no sunscreen on daily. We absorb it much better that way...if you can get rid of all white colored carbs, your sugars will drop and so will your neuropathy. Let\'s get healthy and I can see you in October! Love you..Lauri
Sandi, I am happy you have some answers, even though the diagnosis may be a little grim. I hope you are feeling better in a short while!
When you take your D think sunny thoughts. The summer is good but the winter depends on the weather. In FL no problem getting sun in the winter.
Hope things get better now that you know what is up.
Hugs Penny
Sandi, I am glad that at least you have some answers now. May your pain lessen with the appropriate treatment. Love & hugs, Linda
