Got My Plane Tickets Today!

I got my plane tickets to LA today! I leave on January 11th and come back on February 2nd. My birthday is February 3rd, so I wanted to be back in time for my birthday. I'm excited! I get to see my family and friends, and I got a really good price on the tickets. I got them for $119 each way, from Miami to LA. That's a great price, considering I used to fly from Fort Lauderdale for $99 and I would have to take a train to get there since it's farther away. I would do it to get the cheap fares, but for only $20 more each way I would rather get the closer airport that I might be able to get a ride to and home from. I also got afternoon tickets, so I can take the bus home if I have to instead of having to take a taxi. I like taking taxis, but they cost so much! It would be like $50 to get home from the airport (Miami, the closer one), so it's better to keep my money and just take the bus.
I'm excited that I get to see my stepdad, Nana, my brother, sister... so much family and friends that I haven't seen in over a year and a half. I miss them terribly, and I'm excited that I get to see them soon. I have something to look forward to for the time when I'm the most depressed. Normally after my birthday things start to look up for me, so I hope this next year is the same. I want the worst to pass and then when I get back I want to get better. I hope that being in LA will make the worst of the depression go away since I'm going to be around family and friends.
My biggest worry about the trip is the depression, and I know I'm going to do my best to make sure I don't get depressed while on vacation. I'm going to take my pills and everything, and I'm going to try and keep up with the exercise. I know that going out is important and I can't sit at home (or my step-dad’s) all day every day. I've already posted on Facebook that I'm going to LA and hopefully soon I will start getting people telling me that they want to hang out with me. I know that there are some people who want to hang out with me already, and I have to set up times for that... I have to call my friends and tell them when I'm going to be in town so they can set aside some time for me. I just hope that going out with people is enough to fight the depression.... I don't know what I need to do when I'm away to fight depression since when I was at my mom's I was fine. I will see how it goes in December when I go back. Hopefully it will be a good time, since I'm going up for Christmas. I just hope that there's not going to be any fighting. A couple years back my mom's husband got into a big fight with his dad on Christmas day, and I wasn't there and I'm glad. I can't stand people fighting, it just raises my anxiety big time.
Mood today was good... I had a good day at work. I was on hold forever with a company trying to get authorization for a patient (I was on hold for literally an hour or more.. I started counting a while into the call and I counted over 50 minutes). This is why they normally fax the authorizations, but they did this time and the insurance company didn't respond, and the patient was already at the doctor's office waiting to be seen. I'm glad I don't have to do that on a regular basis, since it was really boring sitting on hold for an hour with nothing to do. It's just that my boss who normally does it had a guy try to break into her house while her daughter was there alone, so she ran home to call the police to get a report and console her daughter. Still, for me it was a good day... I slept okay last night. I had a migraine again when I woke up, but I took some pills and it went away. I was able to fall back asleep and got some good sleep. I wish I knew what was causing these middle of the night migraines, but I haven't been able to figure it out.
Food today was good... I was really close to meeting my calorie goal today, so I should be able to by the end of the night. All I need to do is add in a salad or something and I should be good. I had my regular breakfast, a chicken thigh with some leftover potatoes and corn from last night. I had ramen with lime and chili for lunch, and chicken with mac and cheese for dinner. When I'm low on calories, that mac and cheese is good. It has 400 calories per serving. I'm still a bit low on my calories, but I can make it. Stress today was okay.... I was a bit stressed when I was on hold for an hour, but I think I handled it well. Sleep last night like I said above was good after I took the pills for the migraine, and mood today was good!
