Goodbye to 2019
Goodbye to 2019. And I think thank god this year is finally over. It has been tiring and disappointing in general, my mental health has not been well and I ended up in the hospital twice. In 2019 - I retired from the military, retired for about four months before being headhunted into another job, sold a house, moved all my stuff, bought a new house, got a new TDoc and PDoc, moved to a new state, started a new job, hospitalized over bipolar mania, hospitalized about two weeks later for depression and suicide, started and had 18 sessions of electroconvulsive therapy. That is a lot of change to stuff into a single year. I feel I am less now than when the year started.

You've been through a lot this year....sounds like my 2010, god that was a sucky year.
Your not less my friend, just different. Try to keep a positive thought and not go towards the negative, different isn't always bad. I have a feeling 2020 will be a much better year for you. I'm glad you found us Spencer and I'm glad your hanging in there and working with your Mental Health team to get the treatments that are making things better for you.
Happy New Year, breathe deep and let positive change work in you.

Spencer, I have had three years in a row with different difficulties and life changers showing up. My mother used to say Bad things come in threes. Never considered it could be years. I am hoping that 2020 will break this cycle. Yes, your life has changed greatly. Give yourself the gift of adjusting to all the change. You are that strong man you have always been. Hugs.
I think that is a military saying from WWII. "Bad things come in threes" or Murphy's Law
