Goodby

Man, I dreaded the funeral today.  It turned out to be just fine.  The young man had been cremated so I didn't have to look at his poor body.  It was a memorial and his friends were numerous.  The chapel was over-crowed and that was a blessing to his family.  There were tears but many, many good memories. I am so glad his Mom was a slob when it came to housework.  She spent most of her time with her kids when she wasn't working outside the home.  The house would have just gotten dirty again but now she has wonderful memories of time well spent.  
It'll take a while for the sorrow to cease but he had a good life.  It was a bit too short but he had a good time, was beautiful and in good health.  Most of all, he was loved by many.
