Good to go away but return to same problems
DH and I decided almost spur of the moment to go away for a week. It was so good to do that and just enjoy life. However, coming back to our house, an out of touch ES and grandchildren still hurts as much if not even more. Some times I wonder and ask God for a solution. in His time all will be right but I don't know what any of us did to deserve this treatment. the GF is so jealous of us - if they got off welfare and went to work things might be better for her family - so ES rejects us to keep her happy. Why do these GFs have so much control? Why can't they put down the ax and want to live in peace? I don't have answers but realize they do not know our Lord norfaith. However, our ES was brought up to know better so he is the one who is turning his back to God. He knows better. Why does evil prevail? God is in charge and will ultimate win all battles. Praise be to God who is my fortress and strength.

I\'m afraid it goes back to Adam and Eve. Remember how Eve tempted Adam? He knew it was wrong but yet he followed her. Same today.
These GFs have a hold on our sons. The are young and their hormones are raging. My nephew told me once that if my son said let\'s go to mom\'s today and she didn\'t want to go, she would say \"well, if we go to \'my\' parents, you will have incredible sex tonight but if I have to go to your parents, you will sleep on the couch.\" Not much of a surprise there which way these young men go.
Glad you and your DH got away for a week. I think I\'ll suggest that to my husband. Even today we went on a road trip for a couple of hours and stopped for lunch. It was just plain FUN....
Thanks for your care, support and understanding. When we look at in the context of Adam and Eve then this has been going on from the beginning. Nice way to look at it. Enjoy your time with your husband and have fun! I know we did. We need these breaks.
