Good to be back

I have been away from this site for a few years now. I kind of fell out of touch with it while I was working trhrough my adjustments that came after Exposure Therapy ended. I am glad that I took a break though, because part of that process included adjusting to interacting with outhers. After exposure therapy ended, and the PTSD calmed down a bit, my therapist and I discovered that social anxiety had been burried underneath everything. Having to learn to work around that was quite a task. But eventually I got most of the coping skills down for it. After 4 years I ams still discovering new things about this condition. I work through things as they come.
It is good to be back on Daily Strength thought. I plan to keep myself active on the site even when I am in a cycle or struggling. The new layout and upgraded quality of the site is quite refreshing. Definately easier to navigate and more user friendly.
Its is strange because I feel like a whole different person this time around. I feel like this is going to be a bit of a new experience for me even though I have been active on the site many many times before. I think that it is understandable that I feel like this about things, as I am a different person then I was the last time I was active. I am more healed and educated then before. I have gained more wisdom through my experience and I have very different perspectives on things than I once did. So being active again does have a feeling of anticipation.
