GOOD TO BE BACK
Well, it is good to be back with all of my DS friends. I feel like I have been off line forever. I have tried to respond to most of your recent journals but apologizes to anyone I missed. Life has been fairly quiet here. Lots of snow last weekend. Yuck!! But this week had warmer temps and some rain so in has dropped some. But we may get more this week. Here in the Maritimes, spring is a long way off.I think I told you that my crown fell off last week and it was several days before I could get into the dentist due to a weekend and a strom day. Well, the news was not good. Somehow, the inside part had cracked and the tooth next to it had developed an abcess for some reason. So I am on antibiotics for that and I need I root canal on it. Great! Plus the tooth with the broken part where my crown came off will have to be replaced with either a brdge, an implant or a partial plate. Well, the partial is out because I can’t stand them. So we are looking at the other two options and hold on to your socks... cost will run about $5000.00!!! This is for one freaking tooth!! But I don’t have to have it done right away. He was able to re-cement the crown on and we will be babying it along. I will be super careful about what I chew on that side. I think I should have been a dentist.Now for some exciting news... I went to a plastic surgeon last week to inquire about having a little work done. No, there will be no slice and dice!!! I am having some fillers done around my mouth and chin area plus a tiny bit of botox. My wrinkles are not deep but they bug me so I want them gone. The treatment lasts for a year plus. I am having it done this Thursday coming. I am excited. He said I will see immediate results but that it takes about two weeks to get the full affect. I don’t like getting old. The hell with growing old gracefully. I am going to fight it every inch of the way. I am a little too vain. I’ll let you know how it turns out.I have had yet another flu but I am feeling better today. I was really achy and stiff this morning so I got into the hot tub and wow what a difference. I hope that I can even get out of the house today. I have "cabin fever".Well, I have been up for hours and have not eaten so my tummy is saying "feed me". DENTIST, I can hardly type te\\he word. I am petrified of him. I have kept the same one for 35 years, I trust him. I have 4 bridges saing teeth. I have always had soft teeth. I eat with caution.
Take close up before and after pics. I am so jealous but happy for you because I would love to do my whole face I too am not growing old gracfully. I am always pulling on my face in the mirror. Hate it.
I have to run back and forth to the trailer to pack it and it will be around 18-20. Wish it could at least be 30. It is supposed to go to 40 after we are gone, but it won\'t be 80.

my sister had fillers around her mouth done and it looks geat i am sure you will be happy. sorry about you tooth .i hate the dentist too. in fact i dont know anyone who likes them .good luck. hugs ..marie
I have avoided dentists like the plague most of my life, thank god I have basicaly strong teeth, but I\'ve often believed that avoiding the dentists is why, that and good genes and diet.
I would love to have some work done, I\'m not fond of the wrinkles either but my dream list has breast reduction and tummy tuck on it, I\'m pretty happy with how the rest of the stuff looks at my age.
I am so ready for the end of winter, can I fit in your suitcase for this cruise? At least it\'s sunny here today, had some more snow yesterday but it mostly just farted around and didn\'t deliver enough to count. Hugs, Georgia
You go girl!!! No need to age without putting up a fight. I\'d like to get a breast job done - tired of wearing these bras with the built in hydralic lifts, gravity is a bad law. lol Sorry about all the dental grief you are going through. What a price we have to pay for dentistry these days.
The weather sucks. I am praying I can go to work tomorrow cause rescheduling a day\'s worth of patients sucks more. Feel better soon. xo
You have one expensive tooth there girl!! I don\'t like going to the dentist and it seems so wrong to pay for something you hate doing.
I\'m glad you are feeling better. I have not been on DS all that much in the last few months but I think I\'m finally over that wicked flare. So I too an happy to be back.
