good thoughts - getting back on track
I went to sleep last night
I have so much that I want to do sometimes (high spirits)
but then I have to live in the pragmatic and bury
myself - because for what I want to do in life - I do not
have the means -
Then most of the time - life feels like I am waiting for the
actionable - good things to happen - rather than living
the life... or ....doing the things I want - it's weird -
so much of it seems about waiting - taking care
of our things and relationships and ourselves -
I woke up this morning, splintered and fractured
I got up and waiting for the coffee shop to open
- fed my cat
and just tried to find the start to the day - I felt joy -
but also read a post by a friend that said each day she wakes
up with a new version of her - at one time I may have totally
agreed - but what I am finding is that there may be new things
about you - but the order you keep - the schedule - the routine
the keep on keeping on of taking care of things helps
you remember yourself and once again set out for the day.

Everyday is actionable, though. Don’t you think? Trying new things, walking a path out of the ordinary routine- these small steps are part of actionable sequence. When dealing with mental health woes, I feel we have to walk this fine line of building what is stable and healthy….but also remembering that we do have every right to find the joys and experiences out there and not be *limited* by this “managing mental health” sensibility sometimes. Anyway, that’s what came to mind as I read your post this morning. Life IS actionable, everyday. It doesn’t have to be grand extravagance but things like relationships and nurturing them are part of human experience we all share.
