good thoughts

as I said in the last journal I was stumped and bewildered this morning..I let god lead the dance  I had to make peace with a force within me today. That of the idea of standards and not getting mired or hurt by an unreasonable projection for what I am dealing with in front of myself. I learned that my own standard and interpretation of others’ is important to recognize as well.. Each day, it seems a new force tries to torment me in a different way. At least that’s how it felt today. Thank you guys for being a steady force so that I can write you as I do. People I’ve spoken to have affirmed to me that ‘life is lessons’ and that when we struggle with ourselves we learn and grow, is it safe to say we all face this to a certain extent?? All I know is that once I made some good observation about this force I then was able to get on with the morning. Have a good day! Sending much hugs!! :)

in my own case, the sense that a different force was tormenting me each day was mostly because i kept thinking i had licked it and finally chased the sucker away. once i stopped fooling myself, i came to recognize that it was the same old force, different day. worse, the torments weren't all that unique or creative, either. since i stopped treating that daily conundrum like a new fatal flaw, it is far less threatening and far more manageable.

yeah, it is probably safe to say. pointless to say, but safe. is it not astounding how often safety is tediously pointless?

I am curious about how you would use a different word to describe “force.” Maybe by renaming it somehow and calling it something else, you would give it less power over you? Semantics or not, it is good to let god lead the dance.

Many long years ago, earlier in my diagnosis, I used to feel like I needed to put on my spiritual armor every where I turned because it was feeling like an overwhelming hail storm in too many places “out there.” As the long years have passed by, my armor is not covering my entire self anymore but more centralized in my chest that holds my core inner force I have nurtured carefully- that force being my own emotions. And now it is feeling less like armor on the exterior and more like better posture…or something more natural. Sometimes I think we are our best selves when we can help others stand and walk tall - gets way more accomplished than being pushed around by a force exterior running wild, and maybe more of that concept that God works through people.

Just thoughts!

I don’t know if that made any sense…..

Happy Friday Hugs!
