good session with my therapist
work went well today. I came home then and felt a lot of aggression once I got home.
My work is very VERY physical and channeling all that "go go" energy
in me is a good thing yet when I drive home both in the car and when I come home, that "go go"
energy engages in on itself... and today it set in on me in the forms of anger
and paranoia.
I had my therapy session at 1115a and it was a good session.
She's really wonderful, talented and super smart..
We talked it out. We were kind of talking about my nature, and then the nature of the people
who I was set alight with paranoia about. We also talked about the natural aggressive side
in everyone - and how people make their lives and keep things going in motion...
She talked about how she wants me to get to a point where I don't get into a spinning
paranoia about things but can accept that 'this is how people get sometimes' - and just
find a happy place inside or outside to help me cope with riding out the emotional storm.
Today, after therapy, I went to Starbucks and got a really big treat.
A Chai Frapuccino....I haven't had one in around 5 years or so - maybe longer.
So SO good! I came home and napped with Blue and it was great! Sometimes
we deserve a good treat. :)
I still feel aggressive and 'go go' - but engaging my energy here and writing it out
helps to relieve the burden... I know we all have to cope.
Sending peace and good vibes for a good weekend.

Hope the nap and the writing helped. True, everyone has an aggressive side…..and it comes out in different ways among everyone. My years of customer service robot poise caused me to quickly find an outlet for my aggressive side so that I could drop it off at the cleaners and meet back up with it later. For me, that outlet became writing. And to be honest, I think a lot of people turned to writing as an outlet as you take a look around at the mirror of society online and how people lash out angrily in writing internet comments.
The world doesn’t have an editor so we have to take it in like it’s a rough draft and make our own edits as we go.
Sorry you are dealing with paranoia. I hope you can come up with solutions in therapy. Peace.

Thanks you guys. Peace
For me, that aggressive energy and paranoia are so deeply connected that addressing one typically addresses the other. I, too, have a hard time turning it off after physical labor. Channeling is my go to solution for the phenom. A few minutes of dance, shadow boxing or some such is typically enough. With this particular phenom, think it is *just* a matter of finding the "Off" switch. Oftentimes, it is enough for me to put a little extra energetic silliness into the walk from my car to my front door. Who cares what the neighbors think.
:-) thanks Arfie!
Glad your session with your tdoc went well. That nap with Blue sounded good too. Glad you are working through some things.
thanks Becky!
