good news is always good news!

hi.......mornin'!

doc richard called bright and early to give me the results.  oh my.......but it's pretty good.  no aneurysm in my abdomen.  happy happy happy am i!

there is a hiatal hernia......not big at all, but it's there. have to look up hiatal hernia.....learn about it. (nothing to fret over, good!)

there are signs of colitis on one side, but not the side that hurts all the time.......so he suggests that i take a ten day run at knocking the pain/inflammation down.......by taking Cipro (antibiotics).  if that calms the pain down, then yay.  if not, then we'll see.  maybe more GI testing.....so i need to look up colitis and learn more. 

seems funny that the pain is on the left yet the colitis is on the right.....he suggested a reason or two why it might be that way......mostly i think it's cause the human body is a strange ol' coot and weird stuff happens all the time.  he said that normally a doc tells a patient to eat more fiber, but in my case he said i need to do the opposite.......i'm so tired all i thought was what's fiber again?  is that beans or rice or georgia dirt??????? such a tired brain......thank goodness i can look things up.......cept not right now.  something is wrong ---- i can't connect to google.  dadburn it anyway. 

since i was up with that call i came in here and pulled stuff out of the cabinet to make a casserole to take to the lunch today.  yup, unless something changes in the next little while i'm dragging my fool self over to the owls christmas party today at 11:30. i'm sore and achy, but i ain't daid yet!  daid is southern for DEAD.......you just slide the word in your mouth so it sounds more like DADE than dead, but the slang spelling is daid......lol.

i cooked some fresh green beans yesterday so now i cooked two cups of jasmine rice.......added stuff......cream of mushroom soup (gotta have it for a southern casserole).....cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, sausage, tomato, provolone cheese......i mixed the creamy stuff with the rice and green beans.  that will go in the oven for 30 minutes.  then i'll put provolone cheese on top, sprinkle with sausage and thin slices of roma tomato (mostly for color).....and bake for 15 minutes more.......then head over to the new facility for our first official celebration.  Wahoo!  i laid out a pretty dark green top, black slacks.......my black sweater is in the dryer with a load of towels.....dug out some actual comfy shoes......a christmas brooch.....a nod to "elegant ladyness", it's very sparkly! ....what to do with my hair?  electric rollers maybe?  hmmmmm.  or not.

my upper arms and upper legs hurt like the dickens......so putting in rollers sounds unpleasant.  maybe i'll just put it up in a french twist?  or a bun?  or .......yes, i'm excited.  going out and NOT TO A DOCTOR!!!!!!  wowee wow wow!

it's 9 am, so i think i'll take a nap and start this day again in an hour.......please Lord let me go today and be a person.  just a person!

not having an aneuruysm has given me such a feeling of relief, gratitude, joy and holiday ho ho ho!  Thank you Heavenly Father!

that worry was really weighing me down, i feel so lighthearted.........please instruct all the little people under the age of 8 to stand and twirl in honor of this goooooood news!  i would but then i would fall down, so lets get those kiddies twirling!!!!!!!!  this is me happppppy ----- so relieved!  i'm putting you in my pocket and taking you with me, no arguments.......i need you with me!  hugs, ruthie
