good morning 'cheer ups' :)
I woke up around 330am this morning and then went back to bed..
I think I woke up finally around 430am.
So much energy and insomnia lately but it's just a phase. It'll
go away - god willing - I've got this weird sore throat and clogged nose as well..
I turned on the tely, and just watched some news about the upcoming
storms - checked my Iphone and answered some messages..
Last night I went to bed with a sense of the very serious
challenges that I face in my future but I wasn't without a sense of personal power
- - and I also thought about the past big losses of my home and it's
contents when I became ill. But I looked at my resources and just encouraged myself
we all have to struggle to support ourselves and so it goes. We all have ups and downs and deal
with the challenges....can do.
I woke up this morning feeling serious - and depressed - I felt just solitary - but I just set about the normal routine
of things - checking phone - watching tv - making a hot tea - having cereal -
and because it was early morning, and still dark out, the miasma of the unknown day,
and not relating to anyone but myself and my challenges, I just felt heavy but not discouraged. I set about the early morning
'cheer ups' - that help make me feel like I was taking pride and gave a sense of relatability
to myself in the community. I showered, brushed teeth, dressed and so on.. I turned on the radio
KUSC.org (which I recommend) and I just felt 'a part of the world again.' I played with Blue
and gave him his treats in his cat puzzle - so that he had something to wrangle with!
I go to the bank at 9am when it opens..got to shore up my balance...I have my monthly bank fees to pay - and
a VISA bill to cover. Sending good wishes to you guys. Here's to tackling life with a sense of adventure..

Good morning, Mark! I'm in an increased energy and hard to fall asleep phase, and I think it has to do with the warmer temps here and longer daylight. I expect another shift when we spring forward. Also, I worry about the future a lot, too, but reminding myself that it's not a guarantee that I'll even be here next week helps me get a perspective. Interesting that you enjoy classical music! Have a great day!
Hope you have a good day, Mark!
Thanks gr8ful1!!
Thanks Ladybug!!

here! here! to living adventurously! ! !
ditto for not taking it so seriously you can get depressed over the adventure.
is it sad that the music i used to bug my parents is now being called, "classical?"
i've heard rumors that holds true for most of those long-haired weirdos. a few short-haired ones, too. victor jarra was a short-haired weirdo who had his hands cut off and was publicly executed for his classical music.

Thanks Arfie!!
Sending hugs. Life can always turn back around in another evolving era. I’m holding onto that hope myself. Watch your sore throat and stuffy nose. I’m watching myself too so this doesn’t turn into pneumonia or anything.
Thanks Nikki!
