good morning
I woke up this morning, not looking forward to the day - I was really gassy and -c----d
and I knew that would be a lethal combination for yoga - so I canceled going. I took a shower
and then got dressed..I decided to go for a coffee and I have to say, that having a morning to myself to wake up and not have to be somewhere and go a get a coffee was really nice. Inspiring in fact. I saw the people at the coffee shop/bakery and they were nice as well. I got to say hi and it helped me shrug off the misgivings I woke with.
I came home - guzzled the coffee and thought about what to do next. I feel well now and wanted to express my feelings and thoughts about this mornings' experiences.... and yet i didn't know where to start. I thought to call my therapist and leave a message...but that seemed 'not ok' - I then thought to post something on DS.org - and then that seemed 'not ok.' I thought some more and I thought to change my plan so to speak. To go forth and greet friends with good morning wishes! A way to offer something rather than just focus on me...I don't know.. It just seemed like something positive that my Mom would do. I have been thinking about her so much lately. So I will do that.
Good morning everybody!!
xx

it's weird but when i woke I felt the weariness of fighting another day - but I can't give up - and now that I have showered and had coffee - I am feeling ready to champion things, so to speak, again - we've all go to do it.
This would be one of those mornings I envy having the morning to yourself. This morning all 6 members of the household, counting Persilly, woke up feeling not quite okay, but finding the courage to push forward. Now if we could *just* get the other 5 members to quit having minds of their own. . . Get out of the path of this hot coffee I'm throwing, Brat! ! !
Sigh. . . Everybody seems to have found their own corner to chill in, for now.
Glad your morning turned out to be a good one once you got going. Have a great week Mark.
Thanks Becky and Arfie!!!
Good for you having a nice and relaxing morning that you enjoyed Marky..... That's inspiring!!
I'm not sure when you lost your mom Mark..... I lost mine in 2007 and I think about her and miss her all the time still..... I really try to be just grateful for having her the time that I did BUT I sure still miss her
I hope that you have a good rest of the day sweetie..... xo
thanks Janet!
