Good morning
A good morning to all my DS friends. I am getting an early start to the day by posting my journal. Not like there is a whole lot of excitement to report just day to day stuff. However, yesterday we finally got the cement poured for the garage. We have been waiting for about a month since the forms were put in but the weather never stayed nice long enough to pour the concrete. Now I just have to pay for it...$5200.00...yikees. The actual 24 x 24 garage is less than that. I have a counsellor appointment today at 11:00. Then my girlfriend will be coming for a visit around 1:00 and a hair appointment at 5:30. In between times I will try to get some house work done. Does it ever end?? When I was away a hair product leaked through its container and stained two pairs of my new pants with huge, black spots that bled out from the case the hair spray was in. It did not touch the tops. What a mess!!! I was freaking out. My sister and I worked on the stain for days but the best we could do was lighten them. They were ruined!! So I decided to dye them. I bought a super dye called Dylon. I bought all the pre treatments to bleach the color out of the fabric and the product to set the dye. I waited until I came home to do it. Of course, I had to dye the tops as well. I was nervous about the whole thing because I have used Rit dye in the past and it sucked!! But what did I have to lose they were ruined. Long story short...they came out fantastic!! I was so...thrilled with the results. I actually liked the new colors better. The outfits were originally a pale yellow and the other a pale, pastel green. When all was said and done I had one bright pink outfit and the other the most gorgeous shade of royal purple. Yahoo!! Also I had a white purse, I get a new one each summer as they get so dirty. But I really liked this purse so I chucked it in the purple dye even though it is made with several different fabrics one of which is leather. It now has a new life. I also dyed some tired looking white tops in the pink dye...new life! Well, this is getting long and it is time for breakfast. Gotta eat on this Weight Watchers' plan. So far so good, this is day four.

Sounds like you\'ve been busy this morning, so have I, need to get my journal entry done then it will be nap time I\'m thinking...not used to being such a busy beaver so early in the day but I\'m so pleased with what I\'ve gotten done.

Sounds like you are feeling good. That is a good thing. Keeping busy like me. I am going to get some of that dye. I need to dye some rocker cushions. They want $300.00 for a new set. Not a chance. Already wrote the name down. That\'s a lot of money for cement, dang, they rob you. Guess they know what we need and go from there. You will be happy when it is done. You can fill it up and organize it. LOL Naomi xo
BTW I can\'t get my word to copy when I write in it. I highlight and it won\'t do it. I think I remember you saying yours was giving you trouble once, any ideas. Naomi
