Things are going well. I’m here with the monastics. It’s a super long service. I have no part in it other than just sitting and enjoying it! A special opportunity!
My mind set to thinking about what I want in life? And that knowledge powered me in,me both being apart from my family, independent of them and yet also a part of them
I was open emotionally to the folks around me while enjoying the beautiful ceremony and I took in the harshness of the occasional visual rejections others seemed to make of me.. I know we all have to deal this to some degree. I thought about what I want and how that manifests in the way I take care of life. I want to take part of beautiful conversations in the way I do things and conduct myself in life. I suddenly had a calmness. Sorry this is a broken record .
I realize conversations figuratively and literally can’t be all beautiful but the thought helps me to walk my own walk and realize how others walk theirs, pursuing sometimes similar sometimes dissimilar things. Not everything works for everyone
It’s weird how i seek these answers. I guess sometimes I’m like a kid in regards to what I want. A sympathetic ear. A beautiful conversation. A sense of peace. I have to keep on keeping on..
Have you ever heard of projection?
When you see another person/people, maybe they speak to you, but you "project" your own feelings (about yourself) into how they look at youor what they say.
They may not be judging you at all! But when we think they are, and we project those feelings outward and onto them, we feel like They are judging us, when we are simply judging ourselves.

I had an idea for a new cologne. After walking across the city in my cassock in this sunny hot day,, wet with sweat, I said to my friend Fr. Paissios that I’m going to market a new cologne called ‘old Greek priest’ lol we’re so sweaty and smelly all the time. Might as well spray on more!:) lol
