Good days/bad days

So, last week was interesting...
Start with docs visit on Monday.  This GP is located right next to my office and he's a good sort so I asked him to be my primary care physician.  Explained my history and discussed CFS.  He pretty much dismissed CFS which was a bit frustrating, concentrating instead on my psychiatric history.  He did, however agree to look into some material which I emailed to him.
I went into the visit with a specific list of things I wanted.. a sleep aid because nights are becoming ridiculous (I would be amazed if I get 2 good hours of sleep in per night), an anti-depressant because I feel like I'm suffering a low grade episode, b12 because another doc just put me on and it seemed to be working and something to address the frequent urination.  I also wanted to get a specific set of tests done including a screening for Lyme disease.
I left a bit frustrated, he prescribed the sleep aid but not the anti-depressant or the vitamins.  For the urination he referred me to do an ultrasound to see if there is anything pressing up against my bladder (seriously, I do not want to find out that there is yet another thing wrong with my body).  He sent me for an opthalmological screening because I had been on Plaquenil and also wrote up a fasting blood glucose test.  I have been to this doctor 4 times before and every single time he tests me for diabetes.  He seems to have a bit of difficulty accepting that I am not diabetic so he has to look elsewhere for answers.  I really hope he proves helpful, even though for now I seem to be going around in circles..again.

Tuesday I did my blood tests..and crashed.  Went to fill my prescriptions but could not find them.  Don't remember much mroe about Tuesday.

On Thursday my day started out quite nicely.  No pain, no fatigue, nothing apparently broken.  GOOD DAY.
After a stressful workday, I took off in the afternoon to take my son to the doc.   I got the one doc who actually wants to sit around and have a long, loooong conversation.  I'm trying to fight fires at work and just want to find out what is the problem and get out but nooo she just kept going. Lots of backing and forthing, multiple tests and treatments..2 hours later I started crashing.    In the middle of my crash, she calls me in to tell me VERBALLY which combination of meds I need to be administering my son over the next 2 weeks.  ARE YOU KIDDING!  At that point I could barely focus on her voice, never mind making sense of anything she was explaining.  I kept asking her to write down the instructions until she finally conceded and wrote up a prescription.. which I promptly mislaid (still haven't found it).
Her parting shot was "When we lack activity we get really tired don't we!".  I tell you she's lucky I was too damn tired to put my foot up her butt.  It ticks me off no end when a doctor looks at me and assumes I am overweight because I am lazy.  I have gained 65lbs since I started getting sick.  Yes I am now officially obese, yes increasing activity levels will help..NO, I cant's just get upa n get hopping like everybody else.  Some days I soo want to flip these docs the bird.

Friday I started out tired.  Worked from home but had stressful issues to deal with which just wore me out.  By the time my son got home I was a vegetable.  Slept through Saturday and most of Sunday.
I think my problem though is more depression than CFS.  I have no interest in anything.  I did not want to bathe, I did not want to eat or change my sheets or even change  a lightbulb that had blown out.  I fussed with my son all weekend.  I was just tired and didn't want to be responsible for anything or anyone.

Woke up 3:00am today.  Well actually, woke for the 4th time at 3:00am.  Thought I heard someone in the house, could not go back to sleep afterward.  Expect to feel like crap becuase am sleep deprived, but actually, today is not going so badly.  Held up well up to about 2:30.  Going through a mini-crash now which I think I will pull through soon.
Hey, my pain level is low, my fatigue is moderate, I'm thinking clearly .. I'm having a good day!

PS : Currently not on any meds.  Last dose of Plaquenil taken Friday Jan 8.  I don't plan to renew the prescription as my eyes are feeling strained, there must be a way to control my symptoms without risking blindness.
