gonna be a very quiet week-end......xo
300 years ago I was a healthy baby born to a young couple. Three hundred years ago is a long time.
Back to reality:
When I went to the dentist last time I had pain and little problems daily for a good while......two weeks plus.
It hurt to bite down in general, food was a definite problem. Had little tongue bumps that were swollen & tender, skin next to my mouth cracked & tore.......I got a blister on my lip. My face near my mouth had little tiny bubbles on it where the skin was peeling.........Sjogren's is not a fun day at the beach. It's like a mini plague.........my eyes have been pink RED pink RED lately....like sorry worn old blinking neon seen outside the window of an old hotel.
These things happened after being gently & carefully tended by dental professionals wearing gloves. My new name could be H. H. Orchid........H. H. for Hot House......mercy on me.
Everything is healed, so of course it's time to go again. I promised I would. That's why I appreciate your prayers so much. Remembering to breathe, to unball my fists, to stop strangling the arm rests........to relax is very important.
Today was a back to back nap kind of a day..........the other day I yelled at Katherine Hepburn's character in the Glass Menagerie......told her to shaddup! Tried to read.........threw my novel on the floor......I couldn't concentrate on anything. I could be the 3rd buddy in Grumpier Old Men the movie. Much calmer since I prayed and wrote about coming back down to earth.........plan to do little to nothing, lie still, think the good thought and rotate a holding pattern.......rest, sleep, rest, sleep. The kitties are staying close, keeping watch and I have my shadow stick.....good 'ol Cane......seems like I should give him a better name than Cane, but Cane works just fine.
I feel seasick.........thinking toast and hot tea. Lie still. Still have some lingering baby issues here, but feel much calmer than I was. God is with me.......ya'll are wonderful. Nite nite. Is it really only 5 pm? Does time really matter right now? nah..........back to bed.
Thank you for your kindness, for understanding and for your prayers.........I'll be thinking bout ya and sending up prayers for your own care and keeping. xoxoxoxo

You will be in my thoughts & prayers regarding your dentist visit. Just so happens that I have a dental visit next week. Hopefully mine will be for the semi annual cleaning & dentist quick check but I do know it is time for Xrays again. Also understand what you are going through with the other problems with your mouth & all as I have to deal with the same thing from time to time.
Best thing to do is just in bed & cover up your head. Why? Well, I\'ll leave that up to you.
Hope you are feeling better and that things go well with the dentist visit. I know it can be very stressful and I know sjogrens doesn\'t like stress. Hope you find it easier to relax. sending you prayers, love and hugs, m
I\"ve been really scared to go to the dentist that it would put in me a flare-up. But then part of a filling broke on Thanksgiving and went to get that fixed on Weds. It was ok! I lived thru it! I now have an appt on Dec. 17 to find out ALL the things that need to be done and that is scary! I think my mom might help financially. I told her that was all I wanted for Christmas.
Anyway, I will be your virtual hand holder and you can squeeze my hand as much/as hard as you need to. I hope you have as easy a time as I did on Weds.

I don\'t know why all dentist\'s don\'t run out to the edge of a pier and jump! Seriously. I mean, WHO looks forward to see them? They spend the day looking into people\'s faces smeared with fear and glaring at them, like \"please...let me live.....I\'ll do anything.....\" poor fellas! However, where would we be when we had a toothache without one of these guys? A toothche is just the most distracting pain EVER...shoots to your head, rings in your ears, shoots down your jaw.....BAD. SO yes, I fear the dentist (Heaven help me) but I\'m so glad they\'re there!!!
I hope you can find your calm place. I know it\'s hard! But you\'ll find it, and hopefully, none of the Sjogren baddies will complicate your visit or the outcome. Praying for peace for you sweet Sparrow!
Ohhhh, I\'m 2 days late getting here...do you journal every day? Me so bad...hate being late...Love and hugs, bird lady...xxoo
