going strong

Ok birthday come and gone. It was a wonderful day. Sons and dils took me to nice dinner along with grandson and in-laws of one son. It was nice. Anyone been to Texas Roadhouse? Well celebrations are done there by riding on a saddle! Yes, this 60 year old climbed on that saddle and rode it like it had a bronc underneath. Bashful? Not me.
Then we went out for drinks/dancing afterwards (without grandson). I think It was spending the evening with so much love that created such a terrific memory. I had a blast. Granted, Sunday was definitely a day of rest. lol. I just don't bounce back as easy as before. Yet, I wouldn't have traded a minute of that night.
Started to snow Sunday evening. I shoveled (very cautiously) my porch and walkway 3x's by monday afternoon. Started at 6:45 a.m. so it would be clear for grandson drop-off. Neighbor did about 3 hours later. I did again around 8 for pick-up. This morning had a light dusting so I didn't bother. I think we got over 6 inches! Sure looked like it on the porch and yard.
Another year older. Another year is another year. Of accomplishments, of memories, of happiness, sadness and hopefulness.
