Going home
Well it's bitter sweet because I never figure I'd be leaving the maternity ward without my baby but I finally get to go home today for real.
I have to say I couldn't really take the pics on the walls and the women walking the halls with there bellies one more day. Also couldn't stand being away from my son one more minute. We had a mother's day diner in my hospital room last night and it killed me to have him leave so sad that I couldn't go with him. I know he's been so scared ro lose me that having me home will help get things back to normal for him.
My placenta increta is under control since the removal of 80% of the placenta. They figure the rest will come out on it's own but I'll have lots of follow-ups for that.
The infection of the placenta was e coli. That's why I go so sick. I'll be on meds for an other 2 weeks and then I need to see the infectious specialist for that type of follow-up too but should be fine on that front.
My hemoglobine is real low and that's the main issue now. I get dizzy and tired but I have meds for that too. I'll also have lot's of help from family and friends when I get home until I feel better.
I don't know when I'll be able to think of Zoey and not cry but I know I'll heal my heart better from home. I also can't even think of the notion of never TTC again. My heart breaks when I think of my AAA perfect embries. I can't imagine never being pregnant again but I also know DH and DS need me alive. I guest I can't imagine finding soneone that will say yes to be my surrogate but I have to wait and see when we're ready.
I would not be facing each day if I didn't have all of you.

Sorry things are overwhelming at home, I am sure it will get batter, just give yourself some timeto heal. OMG e coli I am so glad that they caught that in time and your placenta surgery went well. Big hugs!! XO
So happy to hear you are doing better physically and can go home. You are an amazing person roxy.
Sweetie, I\'m glad you\'re home. I know it will not be easy during the next couple of weeks. Take your time to mourn and to recuperate from the physical and emotional scars. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you BIG HUGS!! xoxo
