Going home

Well it's bitter sweet because I never figure I'd be leaving the maternity ward without my baby but I finally get to go home today for real.
I have to say I couldn't really take the pics on the walls and the women walking the halls with there bellies one more day. Also couldn't stand being away from my son one more minute. We had a mother's day diner in my hospital room last night and it killed me to have him leave so sad that I couldn't go with him. I know he's been so scared ro lose me that having me home will help get things back to normal for him.
My placenta increta is under control since the removal of 80% of the placenta. They figure the rest will come out on it's own but I'll have lots of follow-ups for that.
The infection of the placenta was e coli. That's why I go so sick. I'll be on meds for an other 2 weeks and then I need to see the infectious specialist for that type of follow-up too but should be fine on that front.
My hemoglobine is real low and that's the main issue now. I get dizzy and tired but I have meds for that too. I'll also have lot's of help from family and friends when I get home until I feel better.
I don't know when I'll be able to think of Zoey and not cry but I know I'll heal my heart better from home. I also can't even think of the notion of never TTC again. My heart breaks when I think of my AAA perfect embries. I can't imagine never being pregnant again but I also know DH and DS need me alive. I guest I can't imagine finding soneone that will say yes to be my surrogate but I have to wait and see when we're ready.
I would not be facing each day if I didn't have all of you.

I\'m so glad you get to go home. I couldn\'t get out of the damn hospital fast enough when I lost Mason. I was lucky that I was healthy when delivered him and they let me go home just under 24 hours later. I cried the entire ride home as leaving also meant I was leaving him...much love and prayers headed your way sweet friend.

I am SO SO GLAD you are going home where you belong and should be. Don\'t think about so many things now; focus now on getting better physically and on your family healing. I suspect the day you think of Zoey and not cry may never come - but if it does, it is far far ahead. You as a family need to grieve and heal - and this takes some time. Your embies are there, don\'t think too much about them now. I am SURE you will find a surrogate when the time comes. Much hugs and love to you dear Roxy.

I am glad you are heading home. I know that this sucks and is very hard. Do they know how you got the e coli infection? I am just so sorry you have to go through all of this...I would ask that when you are ready...do think about a surrogate. I think you are and will be a great mommy!!!!

Lots of Love and hugs!!!!

Oh Roxy i am so happy that you get to go home and that all seems to be progressing well on the physical ends of the healing, even if there is still quite a road ahead of you. I can only imagine how you must be feeling with the ideas of never TTC again. I wish all of us lived closer to you, because you\'d have a bunch of ppl willing to surrogate for you, when you were ready. Much love and hugs!

Glad you are going home to heal with your family. I\'m sure having your son around to snuggle with will brighten your days alot more than staring at a hospital wall. I hope and pray that those perfect embies find there way back into your life. Hope a surrogate plan will develop once the timing is right. You are in my heart always friend. xoxo

So so glad and relieved you get to go home and be with your family. Your DH and son probably need you just as much as you need them right now.
Keeping your health and healing in my prayers. Big Hugs!

Feeling overwelmed. Happy to be home but now that I\'m not surrounded by hospital staff all I can do is think of what has happend in the past 3 weeks. Zoey should be 3 weeks old, my arms shouldn\'t feel this empty. I shouldn\'t be mad that I\'m still producing milk. I really don\'t understand how things went from being perfect to so so bad in an instant.

I\'m so glad you are home with your family. I\'m sorry your feeling so overwhelmed:( just take it one day at a time and if that is too much, one hour at a time. I hope you start feeling better real soon, both mentally and physically. Sending love and prayers..xoxo
