God's work with my Personalities Request by Steve

Steve you asked a loaded request.
Here's what I can tell you what God has recently done for me:
There is so much to say what God has done in my life. Here is what I know: all of my alters have not been able to get through their traumatic experiences with ptsd/re-living them with flash backs, body memories, tramendous fearand uncontolable anxiety and trusting no one for help. However, I know you know your Bible . so do I and the Word says that the kindness of the Lord brings you to repentance. Now a lot of victumes will get angree over this because they believe the sin that was against them. I am not ignoring this truth, I'm adding to it because we are only responsible for our reactions and responsibilities. With that said...Victoria for instance had to repent of hurting us even though that was her way of coping. In her act of hurting us she believed the enemy. That what she was doing was an act of worship to him and if she did what he said nobody else would get hurt. It used to keep us disfunctionally in control, but now as we have matured in our healing process We have come to the conclusion that we do not have it in us to change. It requires re- newing of our minds. Lined up with the truth in God's Word and believing that it is that..the truth. Once we acknowledged that by the grace of God each individually personality surrends their control to Jesus who is the great redeemer of all things. In their surrender the flashbacks become memories and we invite Jesus into that memory. It's amazing how He weaps for us and most of the time He snatches our souls right out of the abuse or after the abusive memory. He does not have the right to control a humans free will. That is why so many evil things happen to innocent people. Leaving people to believing the lie from satan that "if God was a good God He would not allow this to happen." This is so far from the truth. God is love, but if you recognise that we live in a fallen world that evil things can hppen to anyone because God can not make us do anything if we do not allow Him to be the Lord over our lives. He is a gentle being. What sinners do to us is because they do what they want and do not have God in their lives. That makes us a victum to their behaviors. However, God will be there with you in the most beautiful ways.

With all that said...Once each personality surrenders to the Lordship over our lives we recieve the Holy Spirit in us to do all things in the strength of the Lord. It now becomes His battle not ours. There we find rest, comfort, and peace. We are still individual personalities, Jesus now has taken our brokenness and experiences for us on the cross and we are no longer tormented by the flash back. This is a huge process because not all my alters understand Jesus and the love He freely gives and some of us do not believe we desirve it and are afraid to face our issues, believing that no one is trustworthy. So, the process is slow and requires a persistant counselor who totally believes the love of God and the scriptures as well. She teaches them about the truth. and she patiently waits on the Holy Spirit to teach us and move in out hearts. Once this happens our pain and sorrow is calapsed in His loving arms of Jesus and He weeps with us. Resting in Him is restorative, comforting, life changing, and poured out wisdom beyond our understanding and thats where we find pure unadulterated Love! All of this can never be attained with out the grace of God! Though I have suffered tramendous traumas in my life I know that God is bigger and He is the reason we survived by creating alters and He is also the one who will redeem (integrate) our hard working alters as a united whole in our hearts, minds and soul!
I did not mean to be so lengthy, but my healing is very complex as is others and saying just a few words would do unjustice to the works of God!
God bless you my friend!

Hi Jessica,
This was given because of Steve\'s inquirey, but I thank you for it. I don\'t have a Christian counselor. I did have, but he was not able to help me and quit our therapy. I have been wondering/praying about how Jesus works in all of this. Your experience is helpful for me/us.
