GMU walk
Hi Friends,
I live near the George Mason University. And on May 1st I took a walk to the university. The University is accreditted as a level 2 arboretum. It covers 900 acres. There are a lot of plants and deer and geese and the cherry blossom trees and so much more. I also went into the student union building (aka the Johnson Center) When I was there the school's orchestra was rehearsing for an event they were performing that Sun at the Performing arts center. So I sat in on a free rehearsal.
Pics of the plaza, they have a robot called Starship, they deliver food around the campus and immediate area around the campus. I've even seen them come down my street and I'm 2 blocks away.
The odd looking building is the Observatory/space center. And inside the Johnson center and the orchestra. It was a fun day. I didn't know the orchestra was going to rehearse there. It was exciting to listen to the music.
