Glarp

Ugh, I'm getting sick...ok, that's not really true, yesterday I was getting sick, today, I am sick.
I hate getting sick, nothing slows down when I'm ill.  Still gotta cook, clean, care for Marlow, make sure all the pets are tended too, go to work....blech.  But, on the other hand, Joey got up with Marlow for the first time in months just because I threw up this morning :)
On the other hand, I had three days off out of my four before I got sick, so I did get some housework done.  And when I cleaned the ferret's cage my nose was plugged so I smelled nothing at all!
Life has actually been okay lately.  Joey and I aren't really fighting.  Marlow, well, she has been Marlow!  She is still a handful but she is starting to talk so much, and she is starting to listen just as much!  Work is going okay, and even though Joey is exhausted from working two jobs all the time, our head is above water again.  For how long?  I don't know, but at least it's there!
