giving my cat the good stuff
I love my cat, and I feed him the same time everyday -
and give him his glass of water by the night table when I go to bed everynight and
we cuddle and give each other company...and we do play with his toys
every once a day or two.
But I am realizing today that he has needs for things to be just about him for his mind
and happiness -
just as I need that too.
With that in mind it's now much more on my radar to play with his toys with him
at least once a day... I may not get much out of it at first at times but knowing
I am nourishing his mind, body and soul as if he were my own child.. which he is... :) is
rewarding.
Knowing that I am giving him the good stuff - the time for him to just be him - without
having to reciprocate is a good feeling indeed!

Snuggles to Blue! I stopped home mid errands and ma Bella is now snuggled in on me on the couch and I can’t bear to get up and leave again! I’ll sit with her for a bit. She’s a one person cat
that's great Nikki! Blue likes for me to sit still when we snuggle... like most cats, when I shift my weight a little,
he jumps off. So high wired fight or flight in them!
