Ghost from the past

Woww I just got back from an amazing night out with a previous ex (not the current ex) of mine and I am feeling so damn confused right about now because back when I was with her I had the most beautiful and profound experiences with this woman. However because of her larger then life persona I started to live my life through her.
At first I thought we broke up because I was not enough for her but after our conversation last night. It dawned upon me it was because I was living through her and that in its way was self destructive. 
It's like suddenly my soul was lifted but I feel cautious and scared at the same time because it really broke me when this woman left. I don't know if its just me but our conversation hinted that there was still this strong connection that existed between me and her, and whatever happened between me and Winnie (my recent ex) was just forgotten in that instance.
I know the lure of starting another relationship barely after I just ended one sounds like a lot of trouble but I know this feeling isn't just about wanting to fill a void. I know this feeling I have with Lauren is so real. Guess I'm gonna give it some time and see what happens.
