GETTING THERE
See even Santa has his bad days! Lol. I am feeling about a 7 today, improved from an 8. Things are slowly getting done. Today we tackle the garland/ribbon/lights above 20 kitchen cabinets. But I think it will go so much easier and faster as Michael is going to help. Usually its just me balancing on top of the counter top and battling with this long piece of greenery. I often wonder how long it will take before I fall off and break something!! I am done with the shopping only need a few stocking stuffers and I know what I want and were to get them. About a 20 minute job. No big deal! I have almost all the gifts wrapped. I have my in-laws gifts going out tomorrow. Michael will take them down in the morning. Good... one pile down and more room!!I am going to do up a nice basket of maple products for the couple that we hang out with and a smaller one for our other single friend. The friend that came on the cruise with us.I started knitting a scarf on Thursday. I had the yarn from last year but just never got around to it. It is for me so there is no time frame. I found it very relaxing. That’s a good thing as I have not done much of that lately and that feeling has eluded me. Could it be that I am on the mend and am finally scrabbling up that slippery slope of depression. One can only hope and pray!!Well, I need to get started on a few things now so I will close with a quote. I find that this quote describes me and my general attitude quite well. " You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along... YOU MUST DO THE THING THAT YOU THINK YOU CANNOT DO!!! Eleanor RooseveltBe well. Debbie

I love that quote and OH so true. I am glad you are feeling better and that you are able to accomplish some things today. Geesh, I wish I was done with my shopping. Even with lists, I am somewhat confused about what I have left to do but that is how my brain is sometimes and I just accept it. I think part of the reason it doesnt \"feel\" like I am done is that the older my kids get, the less I have to buy. It just isnt the same, is it?
I was suppose to work again today, but just cant. I feel awful. I know I just have to ride it out, so I will. I hope you have a wonderful day Debbie and stay strong. Please take care of you and dont overdo it. Hugs
I like that quote, and I know I have lived through some really scary times and survived!! It does build up confidence and gives you strength to face another day. Plus having Jesus to lean on and seek guidence from, let the next day come.
I\'m glad you are starting back up the slippery slope of depression, if you reach out and grab my hand I\'ll help by reaching my other hand up and holding onto Jesus\'s Hand. OK, lets pull!!!!
Take care,
hugs Cathy
Wonderful quote.
Wish I could bring you down here to help decorate. If Winter and I had our way we would not spend any money on food or bills at this time of year, everything would go to buying decorations and sticking them up all over the world. Both of us love that more then the presents and even the food (although the food comes in a really close second).
Great guote. Sounds like you are feeling better. You do good when you don\'t feel good. Presents done, tree done, garland and outdoors done. I am proud of you. And knitting, holy cow, you go girl. Keep the upward climb going. Hugs Naomi xo
