Getting stuff (hopefully) off my chest

This is both multiple vents and rambling at the same time because I don't really see a connection between the thoughts:
*  I'm going to have to take College Algebra next semester, which has me...not feeling too good about it.  When I took placement tests just to make sure I didn't need any remedial courses (no major problems there), I did horrible in the college algebra part (which I fortunately did not have to clear).  I can see myself needing help for that course right now, but I already have a grudge against the tutoring center on campus (long story) that only seems to be growing deeper...and don't get me started on whether I feel comfortable asking a fellow student.  (sigh)  I wish I knew how to let things go....
*  If nothing else, the mood chart is confirming that I'm not sleeping well.  The most I've gotten a night is 6.5 hours, and usually that's been the result of passing out more than sleeping.  I'm in that horrible spot where I feel I need to escape and hide, which makes none of the stuff in my room viable because of self-discipline issues (see previous journal entry).
*  There's a new desktop coming into my house, probably today (for the last week I've been making my trips here via my laptop).  The old one just simply gave up the ghost (no surprise...it was around 9 years old).  Problem: I'm the only one in my house with any exposure to Windows 7, courtesy of the computer concepts course I took.  So guess who gets to configure settings so my parents can use it, and I still have one final to get ready for.  Joy....(insert heavy sarcasm here)
(sigh) I am honestly surprised that this morning I'm not sitting dead red on the mood meter...and OK feels like it's a few hundred light years away.
