Getting rid of bugs...
...and I mean literally. We were overrun with ants. An exterminator came yesterday and treated the house yard, and foundation. That outta get rid of them all. We came back to the house today, and the dead ones are everywhere. I have a lot of cleaning up to do.
Yesterday was our church Christmas fair. My older daughter enjoyed the various stalls. She also saw and old school friend, and it was like they never parted. Life is so much fun when you are 8.
Well, I have planned a small gathering for Saturday afternoon. I really wanted my older daughter to have some friends over since they are now at separate schools. Also, it's been a long time since I hosted a Christmas party. Hope I can keep my anxiety in check.
Oh, and we need to get the tree this week. It's getting late! Where does the time go?

Oh yes, I remember the ants in FL. We couldn\'t afford a exterminator so we did it ourselves. Not to mention the fire ants out in the lawn. I hated stepping in them when I was doing yard work. Nothing like that here in NY. But I still miss FL. Esp the warmer weather. My sister is not in the mood for the holiday so I put the tree up this afternoon. It\'s just a 4 ft fake one but I think we need some spirit around here. Take care and have a good day/night.
