Getting my Letters of Administration today - like saying good-be to Smokey all over again.
I am picking up my Letters of Administration today. Smokey died without a will. It is almost like saying good-bye to Smokey all over again. I am crying and tearing all this morning and it is only 6:40 a.m. here in Richmond, BC Canada. I couldn't figure out why I was feeling so blue. Once I started to share, I realized why I am feeling so sad and crying. It makes perfect sense that I feel this way because picking up the Letters of Administration is coming to the point of finalizing the estate once and for all. It will all be over soon. I didn't know it would affect me this way. It came as a surprise for me that is for sure.

Diane, Hang in there. My prayers are with you today. John had a will and it seemed too easy for him to leave. Ok, sweep him under the rug, give $50. for probate costs, goodbye. Take this day as your final chance to say farewell. God has brought a new love into your life. Smokey is looking down from heaven and seeing that you are happy. Although you will always have him in your heart you can move on and continue to live. He is up there partiing with the angels. Rest in the assurance that although we see the small scope of things- God sees and knows the eternal. Words can be so meaningless at times. Let the tears flow and wash the pain from your heart. Praying for you my new friend. AG
