getting help
I went to the pulmonologist for sleep study yesterday, I was asked alot of questbecions, and one was Do I experience Anxiety, I said yes.
My Mom goes with me, There is paper work You have to fill out, And I am not good at writing cause if the Cerebral palsy, Takes me along to wright, It affected my motor skills also, So she comes along.
She also comes in the examination room with me, Just in case the dr asks question's that only she can answer....about medical history in the family, etc.
When I told the dr, I was having anxiety, She said she has never heard me say anything about that.
As we left the dr's office, on the to gym, My mom did ask me, why I was so anxious, So, I told her, That I know This was Thirty-some Years ago, And that I hadn't thought about this in Thirty-some Year's, Untill, My "FRIEND" Put on Facebook, "can he post" And that, I was going through facebook on Thuresday, and saw a post she commented on That I forgot about, all of this was making me anxious,
I told my mom I thought about Posting, untill my "friend" said on facebook "KEEP YOUR DISCOMFORT TO YOURSELF" Which I don't know if that was directed towards me, or just a genral cament.
Anyway, The post I came across on Thureseday, (That post was nine Years ago) it said My friends, kid's want to meet me. I told my mom that, and said I was concered that my friends kid's might try to hurt me somehow, cause their unlcle (my friends brother, the mentally disabled guy) might try to hurt, Maybey their uncle got into their heads, I think he tryed to hurt those kids, Last year at the shore (My mom meet's this guys mother for lunch every once-in-a-while, And said, He's in their lives Somehow, I told my mom, I had read, You have seporate the abuser from the abusee.
My mom asured me I was never to see this Guy again, and I should Put it out out of my mind.
As we were pulling into the gym parking lot, I told my mom, it was like being on the front lines in a war.....You can forgive the enemy, You can't forget.
When I got to the gym, I was siting down with some coffee, Listening to music, I felt myself. holding back tears, Cause I finally told someone about it.....And was so relieved.

I'm glad you were able to tell your mom how your were feeling. I think it helps to talk about things that bother you instead of keeping it all bottled up inside. It is a relief. Good for you.
Forgiving and forgetting is something that you need to do. I know from my past it's hard to forget. I forgive alot easier. But it's something that will help set you free.
Don't carry this baggage around with you any longer. Let it go and move on.
The past is the past and you can't change it and you can't change how people are.
Hugs!!!
I'm glad you were finally able to tell someone about this. I've been reading your journals about it. I hope that having spoken out continues to help you in whatever ways you need it to.
It takes a lot of courage to admit to your mother about your anxiety and more. I feel like I struggle with this too, and you’re not alone I really can tell that it was rough and hard for you to come out because no one wants to admit all that stuff about anxiety, but I’m really happy you. Did you feel a little lighter at the end and relieved like you said
Here's to being able to share with your mom how you really feel in a calm moment. Here's to healing!
Thank You mid,
