Geo got approved!

Geo got approved for the gastric sleeve surgery! It's kinda like a gastric bypass but not as severe. We are all so happy for him.... his aunt is coming down to be there for him... it's going to be a big crowd. I'm just hoping that this is the beginning of a healthy life for him. I was a bit worried when he found out he was getting the sleeve and not the bypass. He said something like "yay! I can have sugar!" because with the gastric bypass you can't eat sweets. That's my biggest worry. I'm going to be on his butt to exercise and only cook healthy food. Since he won't be eating as much we can afford to get good quality food. I'm glad all my hard work is paying off. Now it's time for him to put in the physical work that he has to do to lose weight and drink only the shakes on his diet. I'm going on a protein shake fast with him as well. I've talked it over with my doctor and the pharmacist and so I know what I need to do to get all  my nutrients. His date of surgery is March 31. Countdown begun- 46 days and counting.
