Further along in class

Ok, so the classes for the Accelerated Machinist are going really well. This week, we begin working on the milling machines; in a few more weeks, we will be learning to program the CNC machines. Already, I am about to begin a part-time job, working weekends, as a CNC Machine Operator. I'll be putting pieces into the CNC machine, pushing a button, taking finished pieces out, measuring them, and repeating.  
It won't bring in much money to begin with - but the job experience will help - and it begins the long process of getting my licensing,... by beginning an apprenticeship before my classes are completed.
 
I begin working in April.
Thus far, I'm still really enjoying the work in the shop part of the classes. I hope this bodes well for the job.
