Funny about Blue
I'm home now after a day
of taking a sister to her appointments.
I came home to Blue and he was very very excited.
I fully realized his hyped up energy and
then I pet him and loved him until he settled down.
then he wanted food
and then - after I went into the other room and
came back - he looked at me like? so? yeah?
Like any individual he looks to me (his partner in the room) to give
him a sense of entertainment and communication.
It's really true!! I was looking for that from the nun
in the car today - and didn't always get it -
but I was considerate nonetheless
and so resumed in my own mental world to just share the ride and focus on the trip.
Now I am typing you - and I need to get back to Blue
but also let him just kind of entertain himself
a little bit too - while we share the ride :)

I’ve been thinking about Blue’s weight issue you mentioned in a previous post. I read somewhere that laser toys are great for exercise and weight management for indoor cats. I had one shaped like a mouse and Spirit had a lot of fun with it.
Thanks Susan. Blue is weird. I have a laser pointer and when I try to use it he looks at me like ‘what?’ Lol
Blue is one gifted cat! He's probably thinking, "I'm not going to chase a silly light around the room. Now show me a wand toy!" :)
that's exactly it! I think he may be a little neuro diverse - but it's a blessing! I love him and his personality for who he is!
I try and treat him like a little person
