Funeral was a week ago
I am so tired still. Everything seems like such a hurdle, I just want to curl up on the couch and go to sleep. Yet I must write thank yous, change names on accounts, check in with the attorney, figure out when I am going back to work, make claims on life insurance.
Today I was at the grocery store. I thought of all the things that I would buy if Bob were still around...I looked over at the passenger seat of the car, and thought I would never have him sitting next to me in the car again. As much as he struggled in the last 6 months, I got to be with him. I know he is in heaven, he is in glory, yet I miss him here on earth.

Dearest Karen,
It has been 6 months for me and I still look for my dear husband. Just yesterday, I felt as though he were outside doing some yard work, like he always did. I even went so far as to search for him...foolish I guess, but perhaps his spirit was there as I felt him so strongly. Right now, all you can think about is your terrible loss in every aspect of your day and life. As I found, in time, we begin to re-live our life in one way or another and there will be spaces between those feelings of emptiness. I\'ve grown to accept that my husband will never be with me physically. However, I also have learned to embrace the warm feeling I get when I feel his presence in my life....it is those times that I truly believe he is here with me. Take care dear friend...you have a long journey ahead of you but, I am here if you ever need a hand. Love, Linda
Wish I could give you a hug!
