Full Disclosure to Employer III
Update on this process. I have had to tell employer my mental health diagnosis, treatments, doctor's name, and address and how I am doing right now. Both doctors gave me support letters so I am thankful for that. By me doing this disclosure, I had to fill out the entire security clearance paperwork. All 93 pages. So I had come up with all my addresses, neighbors, employment information, education, foreign travel for the past 15 years. My wife and I move about every two years so this information gathering was difficult.
I am glad that I am done and now just have to wait for the detective to come and question me about all of my answers. Very stressful.

Every hurdle you cross brings you closer to healing. I know it may not feel like it right now. Think of how strong you are now that you have made it through the past couple of weeks. You did it. You didn't fall down - ok maybe you might have, but you got back up. That is what counts. You are still here. A few weeks ago this was once of your worst nightmares. Regardless of the outcome or what next steps there are. You did it. And you can be proud of yourself.
I know it is still stressful and I know that the "interview" will be hard. But for today.......just for today.......could you celebrate what you have accomplished. Hug your wife, go for a walk, have your favorite dinner, watch your favorite movie, Whatever you could do to say I made it. Breathe deep and just for this moment pat yourself on the back.
sending hugs
I hope you’re doing alright today. Sending encouragement your way.
