FRIDAY THE 13TH
I think of life itself now as a wonderful play that I've written for myself, and so my purpose is to have the utmost fun playing my part. ~Shirley MacLaineI love this quote because it really describes me and how I try to live my live even with bi polar.Well, it is Friday the 13th. And even though I do not have triskaidekaphobia ( fear of the number 13), I am never surprised if something goes wrong. Today it was my girlfriend. She came to visit with coffee to see my bathroom reno. I knew as soon as I met her at the door that all was not well in her life. She was a wreck, having a complete bi polar melt down. Talking suicide the whole nine yards. I spent 3 hours talking her down. I told her she MUST call me if she starts to slide back. Her spouse works from 1:00pm til after 10:00 p.m. so she will be alone. Not a good scenario. I am going to email her later and probably stop in about 7:00 tonight just to make sure she is okay. I worry so about her!!! I have the boys all day again as it is parent teacher interviews. But I do not have them next week due to March break and their dad always comes home from up north where he works. I will probably not have them for the first three days of the following week as well. And then it is only two days with them and then I am off for a week on my cruise.Yes, folks, this time in 16 days I will be boarding a ship in sunny, warm Miami. Oh, yeah!!! We will be getting the suitcases down this weekend. Actually we are basically packed because we did not unpack a lot of stuff from our November cruise. Just need to add a few items and maybe exchange a few and we are good to go. We are heading to Halifax the day before and are staying in a hotel right across from the airport. They have a place to park your car for long term trips that is always under surveillance. In the morning they have a shuttle to the airport. When we return the shuttle takes us right to our car. Very convenient. We don’t go down the day of the flight because the flight is so early and it is a 2 hour drive. Plus you just never know what Mother Nature has in store for you. Well, I will close now and finish up some of my other emails. Have a great Friday. Debbie
