Friday Nov 8th

It's been a tough week. Being off work for the last 6 weeks because of spinal issues and waiting to see a specialist leaves me with way too much time on my hands.

I've gone for 2 walks, yesterday and today. I downloaded a bunch of YouTube videos on breakups and listen to them when I walk.

I drive to a beautiful park that has a massive trail. I've learned years ago that exercise does wonders when your depressed or hurting.

It was nice to be in the fresh air and nature. It's slowly sinking in the reality of everything that has happened. I'm still hurting a lot and trying not to think of her so much.

It's hard to find any joy in anything at the moment but I know it gets better. I've been here before so I know I'll get through this as well.

I'm sorry you are hurting so much at this time. I'm glad you realize that it will get better and how important exercise is. Don't isolate yourself. Being involved and with people is a very important part of the healing process.

Thanks, I try to spend time with my family. My only friend lives 50 minutes away. We work together.
