Friday night...
Nothing major planned for the weekend, my husband will be very occupied with working on his hobby and getting ready for an event....., in the last week I've gotten a lot of very sad and bad news about friend's health and towards the end of today, I really have gone into a slump. My husband noticed it right away . . .my mood, attitude not really caring about anything since I had been home... not looking forward to the weekend. Everything seems dull and boring...
I told him I wanted to go play the slots; of course he said no - no . . .big waste of money, etc., My thinking of playing the slots at this time made me realize the trigger is stress and depression!!! Why would I think that would make things better. :]
Anyway, I will try to perk up and be thankful for all the good things I have in my life, try to stay busy, and get out of the slump. The casino sure won't help me..

I understand but, will playing the slots make your friend healthier? Will it help? When you leave broke and depressed even more, you can kick yourself all the way home and think how stupid and adolescent that was. Sorry don\'t mean to be hard on you. We all get those feelings but, we try not to act on them. Glad your hubby was there for you. All that money you saved from not gambling, why not buy some flowers for your friend and cheer her up? hugs barb
Great idea, Barb! Thank you - I love your messages; they bring me right back to reality. :] I hope you are doing well - thanks for checking in with me. Actually, I decided I would like to have a tap board to practice my dancing, so I ordered one on-line just a few minutes ago. It was $179 with tax and shipping, but I do remember days when that much slipped out of my hands and into the slot machines.. I will get a lot of use out of this too, since I love to tap and we\'re working on a new routine.
