Friday morning

Here I sit oh so happy...waiting to see DD31 walk up our basement stairs. Just seeing one of my children again...first thing in the morning just makes my year.  :)
Last night was wonderful as well...the most sense of "family" I've had in a LONG time...3 of my daughters here for dinner and hearing their laughter come out of my basement.  For a few minutes before the presidential debate, dh, me and my 3 girls were all sitting on our big couch. I can't remember being as happy as I felt in that moment with my dh and most of my children surrounding me. I felt like we were a family for the first time.
Had their father or I lived far away from each other, I would never have endured the pain of these last several years and had many more of these wonderful memories with my children. I hope this is a new beginning...
Ok...time to get ready for DDD31 and my little getaway.  :)
