Friday Date Night
Before I got so sick with the "big flare" and felt so strong, Mark used to take me out every Friday night for dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant. We called it date night. We hadn't done that since I got sick the end of February. We didn't know then if I would ever be able to do that again. But tonight, here we were at our favorite restaurant once again, munching on chips and salsa. Usually, I pass on the chips, too many calories and carbs. But tonight I just wanted to celebrate how far I have come in the last 4 months. We talked about it on the way home. I talked as usual and he just agreed, not so usual. I will just enjoy today while it is today and face tomorrow with whatever it may bring when it comes. But tonight was Friday date night once again and I loved it!

go to the park just have normal couple time
when the illness is not sitting between you
