Friday and the end of week.
It will be a change in scenery, depending on the state of my back. I slightly inflammed it. But a couple of pain pills over 24 hours does wonders.
I was at the beginning of the course yesterday. It went very well. The teachers , female social workers, are another issue maybe. But then, every lady is a woman. However, not every woman is a lady. Something to consider as I go through the course. I'll just go and learn and not worry about them so much. They are OK as teachers by first impression. And the relationship with them is a professional one. And I sure don't want it to be something else. Nor will it be forever as presummably the 12 STEP movement was suppossed to be. I am tempted to go to a 12 STEP meeting tonight. But that is not an essential thing for me and I will feel uncomfortable. I just miss certain individuals that go there. But nothing is forever. I ought to get into reading stuff on Buddhism. I love the lack of importance of materialism emphasized in the teachings, as well as the openness contained in other religious teachings being of wothiness. It is a big help to me psychologically. But going to their places of worship is not on my agenda. I want my spiritual journey to be unimpeded by religious authority's teachings that have no positive influence for me personally.
Tomorrow will be better weather. O good idea to get a change of scenery. If my back permits.
