Thank you to all who wished Jennifer a "happy birthday" yesterday! I was so emotional yesterday - seemed more so than last year. I cried most of the morning, especially after a text from one of Jennifer's friends who was just letting me know, Jennifer was not forgotton. So special, that was to me, even though it brought tears to my eyes. People left such sweet memories on Facebook that I asked them to leave in the comment section of Jennifer. Those made me smile & cry. Another year past - it's hard to believe......
Work is in full swing - hard to work this week - my mind/emotions are somewhere else but I have made it through - It's Friday!! Whoop whoop!!!!Hunter is doing well - he starts school next week - praying for a good year - his Jr. year in high school.
Just a quick note - again thank you. Your support means the world to me.

I thought of you from the moment I awakened as we share these birthdays. Isn't it so validating and heart warming to hear from others and most especially things remembered about our BEloveds. Jonny, Douglas' college roommate sent a text to Sarah and then one to me that just make my heart skip a beat. It's moments such as this that are the bridges to our healing. How lovely that Jennifer's friends let you know that she is in their hearts as well.
TGIF and my Littles are back in school and loving it. Wishing for the very best for Hunter and sending lots of love and aloha your way dearest Vicki. Another tender day we navigated as best as we were able and always huge exhales to be on the other side of them is how I feel.

Hi Vicki, I too love when I hear from Ed's friends and they tell me how much they care about him and miss him. It's sounds like Jennifer ' s birthday was bittersweet but it also sounds like you allowed yourself to feel what you needed to feel. You did so well working all week too despite all the emotions you were experiencing. May your school year be a good one and may Hunter's junior year (wow!) be blessed. This year seemed like a nightmare of a birthday to me. I had planned to make it a celebration, but unfortunately, sometimes, you just can't fake it till you make it.
